March & April Birchbox

10:44

Hey!
Last month I didn't write a post about my March Birchbox as it didn't actually arrive in the post until April. So this month I will be showing you the contents of two months worth of Birchbox!

The March Birchbox was inspired by the British brand 'Lulu Guiness' so I received a little booklet of cards which contained inspiring life lessons.
In the picture above:
Top; left to right..
Dr. Brandt, Pores No More Pore Refiner. £39 for the full size. This is a primer as you may have guessed, and has a sheer formula which minimises your pores and absorbs any excess oil on your face.
Korres Citrus Body Milk. £9.50 for the full size. This is a hydrating body lotion which contains Almond oil and Shea butter.
Molton Brown Rhubarb & Rose Hand Cream. £10 for the full product. This hand cream smells really fresh and is fast-absorbing.

Bottom; left to right..
Candy Rock - doesn't say the price! This is a stripy piece of rock candy which represents the traditional sweet shops that inspired Lulu Guiness' Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
Benefit Stay Don't Stray. £20.50 for the full size. This is an eye primer that ensures your eye makeup doesn't budge throughout the whole day!
English Laundry - No.7 For Her. £47 for the full size perfume. This is a perfume with the top notes of pear and jasmine blend with gardenia, vanilla and sandalwood.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with this box; the Benefit Eye Primer was a really small sample size but other than that I'm really happy with what I received.
Now onto my April Birchbox...

This April Birchbox was inspired from local food markets, the kitchen and Birchbox's favourite eateries!
In the picture above:
Top, from left to right..
Propercorn; Fiery Worcester Sauce & Sun-Dried Tomato flavour. £0.90 for a full bag. This popcorn is a guilt-free treat for anytime you're feeling peckish!
One Love Organics Skin Saviour Waterless Beauty Balm. £30 for the full size product. This is a do-it-all beauty balm which can remove makeup, cleanse the skin and moisturise. It does it all!
Tommyguns Pomegranate & Orange Flower Shampoo. This was a full size product and costs £5.50. This product is a refreshing gentle shampoo which is suitable for all hair types.

Bottom, from left to right..
The Balm Cosmetics, How 'Bout Them Apples? £26 for full palette. This sample offered one of the colours. It is an easy-to-blend cream that offers a long-lasting pop of colour to the cheeks and lips.
Lord & Berry Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil. £10 for the full size. This product is a sleek black kohl eye liner pencil.
Colour Club, Gala's Gems Nail Polish. £15 for a set of 4. This is a pretty Birchbox exclusive polish which was from a collaboration with London-based Spanish blogger, Gala Gonzalez.

I love all the things in this box, however the samples could have been a little bigger. Although I think the full size shampoo makes up for it though!

xoxo Ellen

P.S. I have recently changed up my blog a little bit and given it a new look for the Spring and Summer. Let me know what you think of it in the comments!
